Golf first became popular in Wales around 150 years ago with the earliest clubs being established in the 1880’s.

The Wales Golf organisation runs more than 30 competitions every year for all levels of golfer in Wales. The organisation is responsible for overseeing the development of golf in Wales, supporting clubs, players, and events, and representing Wales in international competitions.
